We are very proud to inform you that our artwork "pregnant" (The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood) has been selected by the jury of the AMERICAN ILLUSTRATION 31 competition to appear in the AI 31 annual book. From 8,000 pictures entered by over 1,200 illustrators, the jury selected by a majority vote or better only 439 images to appear in the book and represent the best pictures from 2011. This year’s distinguished jury included Jen Bekman, 20x20; Steven Charny, Rolling Stone; Mia Song, Men's Health; John Gall, Random House; Aviva Michaelov, The New York Times; Veronica Reo, Young & Rubicam; Paul Sahre, O.O.P.S.

We received the new issue of APPLIED ARTS Photography & Illustration Awards Annual in the mail today and were very proud to have our illustration PREGNANT on the cover! The interior of the magazine also features 6 illustrations of our illustrated book: The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood, Folio Society UK. We are very excited to announce that Steven Heller has interviewed us! We talked about our method of working as a team and our artistic process, training, references. Many Thanks, Steven! Steven Heller is the co-chair of the MFA Design program at the School of Visual Arts and co-founder of the MFA Design Criticism program. He writes the "Visuals" column for The New York Times Book Review, "Graphic Content" for T-Style's "The Moment" blog, and The Daily Heller for Print magazine.

Our new illustrated book: Power and Ambition in Shakespeare, Adapted by Jane Elizabeth Cammack, has been published by Black Cat Publishing. We created 15 full-page color illustrations. The title is part of the READING SHAKESPEARE collection. It is a series dedicated to the works of Shakespeare. About the subject: A power-hungry Richard III, a remorseful Macbeth, a revengeful Prince Hamlet, a powerful Julius Caesar, and a ruthless and ambitious King Henry V: various aspects of power and ambition feature in these five stories based on plays by William Shakespeare.
