2015 CA AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

Our illustrations for “The Canterbury Tales” (Black cat Publishing 2014) were given an Award of Excellence in the 2015 Communication Arts Illustration Annual.Of the 4,313 entries to the 56th Illustration Annual, only 163 were accepted, representing the work of 123 artists, making the Illustration Annual the most exclusive major illustration competition in the world. The selected projects will be reproduced in the May/June 2015 issue of Communication Arts, both in print and on the iPad. More than 36,000 copies of the issue will be distributed worldwide assuring important exposure to the creators and publishers of these award-winning images.

New English edition of our children's picture book "Leather Shoe Charlie" by Gyeong-hwa Kim.  Edited by famous children's author, Joy Cowley (Oct, 23, 2014 big and small publishing). The book is available on amazon.co.uk. The title "Leather Shoe Charlie" is part of the "Economy and Culture Story Books" collection. The Industrial Revolution as seen through the eyes of a boy named Charlie, growing up in Manchester, England. Through this story, young readers can understand what the industrial revolution was and the economic concept of industrialisation.

New book The Queen of spades and...

Our latest illustrated book "The Queen of spades and others stories" by Alexander Pushkin has been published by Folio Society. We contributed with the cover art and 7 full-color illustrations. The new edition 2014, introduced by Rachel Polonsky, is now available online: www.foliosociety.com The cover ("The young countess") and the first two illustrations ("Nightmare" and "The ghost Countess") are dedicated to the famous short story "The Queen of Spades". Pushkin wrote it in autumn 1833.
