2016 THE STEVAN DOHANOS AWARD SOCIETY OF ILLUSTRATORS NYC

The Stevan Dohanos Award, named in honor of the Federal office muralist and American painter, honors the best piece in the show. Our art “The Blood of Eden”, best in this year's members show “Drawn to the Music”. We join a list of wonderful illustrators from the past years.  Our piece was chosen by 4 jurors, 3 that have won this award in the past, one juror who is in the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame.

2016 AMERICAN ILLUSTRATION 35 SELECTED WINNER

Our cover art for the book Richard II (Penguin Monarchs) A Brittle Glory by Laura Ashe (Penguin, UK) has been SELECTED to appear in the AMERICAN ILLUSTRATION 35  annual award book! From 10,003 submissions only 339 images have been selected to appear in the book and represent the best pictures from 2015.

2016 SPECTRUM 23 WINNER The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art

Our cover art THE WITCH for "Of Sorrow and Such" by Angela Slatter Tor Books, has been selected for inclusion in Spectrum 23: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art.

2016 COMMUNICATION ARTS AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

Our illustration "House on fire" for Reader's Digest Magazine November 2015 was given the Award of Excellence in the 2016 Communication Arts Illustration Annual. Of the 3,973 entries to the 57th Illustration Annual, only 167 were accepted, representing the work of 145 artists, making the Illustration Annual the most exclusive major illustration competition in the world.

Since 10 years (2017-2016) we have received 15 Awards of Excellence from Communication Arts Illustration Annual 48-57

2015 CHESLEY AWARD BEST INTERIOR ILLUSTRATION

The Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists has announced this year’s Chesley Award Winners. Our winning work "Best Interior illustration" is the illustration “Ekaterina and the Firebird” by Abra Staffin-Wiebe; Tor.com, January 2014. The 2015 Chesley Award winners, for artwork produced in 2014, were announced at the 73rd World Science Fiction Convention (WorldCon), Spokane, Washington, USA on August 19-23. Thank you so much to ASFA and all our fans! we're very proud!
