New Images "Little Knife"

We produced two artworks for "Little Knife", young adult fantasy story by Leigh Bardugo, online on It's a companion story to the third book of the Grisha Trilogy, Ruin and Rising, and the stories “The Witch of Duva” and “The Too-Clever Fox.”Our final image shows the boy clinging to a big tree dragged by the wave of the river “The river swelled in a great, curling wave and roared toward him."

“Through the woods the river tumbled, tearing ancient trees from the soil, stripping away branches.” Our first image represent a big wave in the guise of a woman that sweeps away the forest. "But the river did not stop. It twisted and turned, forming a mighty column that churned with reeds and broken rocks, rising high above the forest floor as the onlookers cowered in fear. What did they see in its waters? Some would later say a demon, others the pale and bloated bodies of a hundred drowned men, but most said they saw a woman with arms like breaking waves, with hair like storm cloud lightning, and breasts of white foam."
